If my book “When It’s Murder” was a #Hollywood movie, my main character Emilia McGreg would look like Rooney Mara, in her portrayal as Lisbeth Salander in “The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo” mixed with her character in “Side Effect” as Emily Taylor.

(There’s no connection with the name I picked for my main character though. I only realised the similarity between the names when I was making the character look alike.)

By combining both movie characters, Emilia McGreg is both unhappy and eagerly in search of something... in this case, it’s why she believes she has come back to life in a different body.

Book Cover Reveal: When It's Murder

Dear readers,

I hope you all are doing well, because I am.

I'm happy to officially reveal the cover of my upcoming book, the first [stand-alone] in the Thrilling Mystery Series, "When It's Murder."

I had a lot of ideas for the cover, but I didn't want to give too much away or make the story predictable, and I also wanted something very simple. It then came to me, newspaper clippings... newspaper clippings played an important role in the book, so I thought it would make sense to feature it on the cover.

New Book: When It's Murder

I just finished writing and editing my third book for the year titled "When It's Murder," to be released on Friday, 14th December 2018, because the story starts on that day... I wrote in the future, so that readers can read in the moment as the story unfolds within one week, and then on Christmas day. The first title was "13th Of May," but it only lasted three days, when a chapter in the book inspired the new title.

It's a fast-paced character/dialogue driven mystery/suspense book that I wrote in under two weeks. It wasn't rushed, I'm just an insomniac writer, and it seems I've finally mastered the art and discipline of writing and finishing one book at a time within a given time frame.
