Book Trailer: Dim Noo Abroad

My love for making book trailers is still very strong, so I have just made another one for my Nigerian book titled "Dim Noo Abroad" (My husband is abroad).

I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely LOVE it... in fact, I wish the book was a movie already :D.

I hope you like it too :), and until the next trailer for Thirteen Suspects, please #watch, #enjoy and #share.

Book Review: Half of a Yellow Sun

Book Description:

Ugwu, a thirteen-year-old houseboy who works for Odenigbo, a university professor full of revolutionary zeal; Olanna, the professor’s beautiful young mistress who has abandoned her life in Lagos for a dusty town and her lover’s charm; and Richard, a shy young Englishman infatuated with Olanna’s willful twin sister Kainene.

Half of a Yellow Sun is a tremendously evocative novel of the promise, hope, and disappointment of the Biafran war.

Short Story: Peaches 'n' Cream

Peaches 'n' Cream is an erotic/love story by Ify Obienu, inspired by Yours Truly. It was written for a short story contest that never saw the light of day, so I decided to post it here so that the world can see. #Read #Enjoy #Share #PG18 #Fiction

“Quick Muna, get in my closet and be quiet,” I whispered, as I heard the loud pound on my bedroom door.

My father began yelling, “Isabel why is your door locked? Didn’t we ask you kids to always leave your bedroom doors unlocked? Open up.”

I went and unlocked the door and Dad came in, looking around, wondering what I had been up to. His eyes caught a pair of bra and panties scattered about and he immediately excused himself, feeling embarrassed. I quickly shut the door and locked it after him.

Preview: Jammed Door

Dear readers,

I'm happy to announce that I've just published the sequel to "Closed Door" titled "Jammed Door." It's juicier, funnier, more mysterious and suspenseful. It's the second volume of the Angela Hunter series. Yes, I enjoyed writing and reading Closed Door so I decided to write a second volume. You can read my post about Closed Door HERE.

Book description:

After Angela saw what she thought was a body under Father Paul’s desk, she passed out. When she woke up, she realized the detectives had seen something else under the desk... Nothing! But Angela’s persistence made Detectives Slaughter and Pruitt come together again to solve the jammed-door mystery.

Book Review: Untraditional Publishing

Book Description:

First there was traditional publishing. Then came along self-publishing. Now, a third option for authors is Untraditional Publishing.

The biggest difference with Untraditional Publishing is that the author creates unique opportunities using confidence, knowledge, self-discovery, experience, and relationship marketing to build sales.
